TOLEDANA VIII is a 15.2 hands, bay mare with movements to die for. She was imported from Spain and was bred by Senora Maria Fernanda de la Escalera de la Escalera (known for breeding the Mercedes Benz of P.R.E.'s in Spain). She was an IALHA National TOP 5 Finalist in Mares (Halter -- Spanish Judge placed her 1st) and Saddle Seat Junior horse. She is our 2nd foundation mare and is in-foal to DECOROSO SMDR for 2012. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a mare bred in Spain! |

This big (15.3h) bay mare is a replica of her magnificent sire, Enamorado VII. Her gran sire on her dam side is the black stallion, Dejado. This is a truly beautiful Pure Spanish Mare. If you are looking for a big bay mare, this is the one you shouldn't pass on. She has a marvelous temperament, just like her sire and dam. She has been shown in Dressage and is a great trail horse.

This full sister to DECOROSO SMDR had his same fantastic movements until she developed an arthritic condition in her left rear ankle. Colorado State University Hospital Veterinarians have assured us that this condition is not hereditary and that she will make a great broodmare. She unfortunately will never be able to be a saddle horse. We have seen no sign of this condition in any of her foals to date. She has also not shown any problems in carrying her foals. She is in foal to KIOSCO SMDR for 2012. |
